Fabrics for Uniforms & Workwear

Poplin, twill, drill, canvas and duck for school, corporate and industrial wear

Uniform buyers are judged on how garments look after fifty washes, and workwear buyers on how long it lasts on the job. Construction, composition and shade fastness decide both. We supply shirting poplin, twill and drill for uniforms, and canvas and duck for heavy workwear, dyed to your uniform shade.

What this application demands

The requirements that decide success

Shade held across years

Institutions reorder the same shade every season. The shade must be matched to the approved standard on every lot.

Easy care and durability

PC blends hold shape and shade through repeated laundering. Cotton is more comfortable in heat. The right blend depends on the wearer and the washing.

Strength where it matters

Workwear fails at seams, knees and pockets. Heavier drills and duck give abrasion resistance where cloth takes the wear.
