Canvas is a heavy, durable plain weave with a firm hand. It holds its shape under load, takes print and dye well and stands up to abrasion, which makes it the cloth for tote bags, backpacks, canvas shoes, aprons, jackets and covers. Supplied in cotton, polyester-cotton and polyester, plain or coated, in the weight and width you specify.

What weight of canvas is right for tote bags?
Printed totes use a lighter canvas than structured bags and backpacks, which need more body to hold their shape. Send us your bag, or one you want to match, and we will match the weight.
What is the difference between canvas and duck?
Duck is a tighter, heavier form of canvas woven with plied yarns, so it is smoother and more resistant to wind and wear.
