Bags and footwear fail at the seams and flex points long before the cloth wears through. The fabric needs enough body to hold shape, and a construction that holds stitching. We supply canvas and duck for bags and shoes, and PV matty and tricot bases for the rexine that goes into bags and footwear.

Structured bags need heavier canvas or duck. Soft bags and pouches can go lighter.
Seam strength
Tight constructions hold stitching under load. Loose weaves pull apart at the needle holes.
Flex resistance
Footwear uppers flex thousands of times a day. Knitted tricot bases give rexine the flexibility to survive it.

Canvas of 350 GSM and above suits most backpacks. Duck is the choice for tool bags and heavy-duty use.
Do you supply rexine base for footwear?
Yes. Tricot is the usual base for footwear rexine because it flexes without cracking the coating.
