Twill fabric

Garment Fabrics

Twill

Twill is woven so the weft passes over and under groups of warp threads in a stepped pattern, which creates its diagonal rib. The weave packs more yarn per inch than a plain weave, so twill is stronger, drapes better and hides soiling well. Supplied in cotton, polyester-cotton and stretch (lycra) twill for trousers, chinos, uniforms and jackets, in the weight and width you specify.
