Tricot (Warp Knitting)
Tricot is knitted on a warp-knitting machine, where the yarns run lengthwise and interlock in a zigzag. The result is smooth, stable for a knit, resistant to runs and snags, and stretchy enough to be pulled over curves without distorting. That combination is why tricot is the standard base for PVC and PU laminated fabrics in seating, automotive trim and footwear. Supplied to your weight, width and shade.

About Tricot (Warp Knitting)
How is tricot different from a regular knit?
A regular (weft) knit loops yarn across the width and can ladder when cut. Tricot is warp knitted along the length, so it is more stable, resists running and cuts cleanly, while still stretching enough to shape around curves.
Can tricot be brushed?
Yes. Brushed tricot gives a softer reverse on the finished rexine. Tell us whether you need it plain or brushed.
