Crepe
Crepe gets its pebbled, slightly crinkled surface from tightly twisted yarns. The texture gives it a matte look, a flowing drape and good resistance to creasing, which is why it is used for dresses, sarees, kurtis, tops and ladies' suiting. Supplied in polyester and viscose crepe, plain or printed, in the weight and width you specify.

About Crepe
Is crape the same as crepe?
Yes. Crape is a common spelling of crepe in the trade. It is the same fabric family.
Does crepe shrink?
Viscose crepe can shrink noticeably on first wash unless pre-shrunk. Polyester crepe is far more stable. Tell us the end use and we will advise on composition and finish.
